Scientific Postcards for sale at Etacude.com

For a small cost, you can obtain the following Java source codes of various simulation and modelling subjects. Remarks are liberally used to explain the program flows and structures. Ideally suited for learning Java programming in the areas of computational modelling. Look at the source codes and see how the real application programming works.

Each program consists of a graphical user interface with a set of interactive options that dictate the program to produce different outcomes accordingly. Great for learning a particular subject interactively. You can find out more information about a particular subject and test run the corresponding applet for free by following the appropriate links.

Conditions - You need to agree before buying any source codes. Click here if you DO NOT agree.
PROGRAM - refers to a Java program, as supplied by the Science-Park.info, both in source and binary code.

1. Talk to computer
Imitates an intelligent subject that 'attempts' to give intelligent human response according to your input conversation. Currently , it only recongizes around 80 words, but more vocabulary can be readily added into the program. Cost: £2.00 (about US$3.20).

2. Game of Life
Famous classical Conway Game of Life. See how computer-generated cells grow and die. Enchanced version included, such as two colonies fight for survival, and enhanced rules to give a more realistic model. Cost: £2.50 (about US$4.00).

3. Monte Carlo Polymer
Monte Carlo is a very important simulation technique in studying the statistical properties of polymers. Here, the Configuration Biased technique is used to do polymer configuration sampling. Various simulation parameters can be adjusted to investigate the sampling efficiency. Cost: £2.50 (about US$4.00).

4. Fractal Gardening
Grow your own computer-generated plant. By exploiting the diffusion-limited aggregation processes, each growth guarantees to be completely random and no two 'plants' will look exactly identical. With adjustable parameters to interfere/distort/manipulate the growth. Fun, beautiful and entertaining! Cost: £3.00 (about US$5.00).
